I have decided to become a progressive liberal. I have also decided to support, blindly mind you, anything Obama and his liberal friends say. I will support all UN missions inside the US and abroad. I will work hard to make the world a better place as I am now a global citizen and a huge fan of the EPA, ATF, IRS, NSA, and DOJ.
I hear people talking all the time about how we’ve lost so much in the last 20 years, as far as freedom is concerned; especially since September 11, 2001. Well, you’re right. We have lost a lot of the freedoms we once enjoyed. We have had liberties squashed under the thumbs of tyranny disguised as security. But, now, people are beginning to wake up and get loud. So, you want your freedom and liberty back, too? Continue reading
So, I assume you remember that big ol’ furlough we went through last month and Ted Cruz gave an impassioned (and long) speech about defunding ObamaCare in an effort to repeal it. During that whole thing, the good (sarcasm) Senator John McCain talked about Cruz being a nutjob; an extremist.
No, the answer is not firing several shots, either. I have come to believe the answer is to change the country from within ourselves. So many people preach that they want to go back to a simpler time; a time when we were actually free, when our food was actually food, when family meant something. However, a lot of those people are more into dreaming of armed conflict and the glory of restoring our country to the vision of our founding fathers. Continue reading
Are we angry enough, as a nation, at what our government is doing to us? Are we angry enough about the police abuses all over the country by these globalist progressive bullies? What about the overreaching federal government that took “long arm of the law” too far? Well, check out this story from The Blaze. This one, when I first heard it this morning, about set me off. Continue reading
Food stamp recipients across the country were stunned last week to learn their EBT cards were not working due to a power outage at Xerox. You would be understanding if the people were upset and worried about what was going on. You know, ask some questions about when it will be back up or maybe ask what they can do until service is restored. However, that’s not what happened. Continue reading
I’m sure you’ve all heard about the 21 soldiers killed since the October 1 partial government shut down and how their families were not paid the death benefits owed them. You’ve probably also heard that a private charity, The Fisher House Group, will be paying the benefits on behalf of the Pentagon. However, there is more to the story. Continue reading
The most recent story I’ve seen of police officers attacking American’s rights is a story on The Blaze. It wasn’t an officer tazing or shooting an unarmed or non-threatening man, or an officer bullying a woman at a protest rally, or anything like that. This was another direct assault on the 1st Amendment. You may recall the way a man, a concerned parent, was treated when he spoke out against Common Core the other day by a large intimidating police officer working as security at the school district meeting. Well, this is a different story. Continue reading
The San Antonio city council voted 8-3 to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the list of classes protected from discrimination.
“This ordinance does ensure that everybody in our community is created equally,” Councilman Diego Bernal told MySanAntonio.com. However, Christians aren’t so sure, they’re afraid of discrimination from gays and their supporters. Mayor Julian Castro disregarded concerns from Christians that it might make them second class citizens.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s posting, the rebels in Syria are largely made up of al Qaeda terrorists. If President Obama goes ahead with his plan to strike Syria, he has made us the bad guys. How, you ask? It’s simple. He will have taken sides with the al Qaeda-linked rebels. Simple as that. Continue reading
Had that Australian college student in Duncan, Oklahoma been black and the shooters been white I guarantee you would’ve seen non-stop media coverage, the president would’ve made some retarded statement about the victim being like a son, and the NAACP and their race-baiters would be on the ground making speeches. Chris Lane isn’t the only white person killed because of his race recently, either.
I grew up in a small town in southern Oklahoma called Duncan. You may have seen the news recently about a murder there. Australian exchange student Chris Lane was jogging Friday and was gunned down by 3 punk kids. The suspects later confessed to the killing and claimed they wanted to know how it felt and that they were bored. It is also reported that they admitted they were on the way to kill another teen. Kudos to the Duncan Police Department for stopping them before anyone else got killed. However, there’s still something troubling me about this story. No conspiracy, no cloak and dagger, just troubling. Continue reading
Do you remember Obama, while making his first run for the presidency in 2008, talking about how lobbyists were evil and he wanted nothing to do with them? He went on to attack John McCain for his connections to lobbyists. Continue reading
We’ve all heard all the political correctness crap out there. You can say this, you can’t do that because someone will be offended. Political correctness has changed so much in this country that you almost never know what to say without risking too much. It’s sad. It’s sad that a liberal agenda has pushed society in a direction that limits your speech and actions out of fear that you may offend someone. Continue reading
We’ve seen affirmative action in the workplace and the universities. Well, if HUD has its way, it’ll come to your neighborhoods, too. In fact, it’ll dictate how financing for homes is done.
While I agree that people should be judged on their character and not their color or where they come from, affirmative action is anything but affirmative. Continue reading
